A tale of pain and glory...Sponsorship with a twist
As some sadistic people also wanted to further add to the pain of the swim, and it was decided to sponsor Stewart Rush to have his chest waxed. In the event, other gameful males were determined to join into the fun- well done Ollie Steed, Nic Duce, Richard Lawrance and Barrie Walker.
We were very fortunate to secure the services of Jazz Kaur, from Optionz, High Wycombe, who kindly agreed perform 'the dastardly deed' after the event on Sunday 5th October on all the willing - now plucked -chickens. She remainded calm in the face of screams, obsentities and Richard's stoney face as he tried to lie that he wasn't feeling a thing.
There exists a video of the 'act', which will be released when the total reaches £500 specifically for waxing purposes. Watch this space.
We'll also start to include some of the dozens of photographic eveidence.. then everyone can see the pain here was more intense than the swim challenge. Seems like there were so many photographs of this part of the day..... can't imagine why!!!!
